Reduced~~Chenille Velour Chair with Nailheads & Carved for sale in Reno, NV
~~This auction is for a single fabric chair with dark wood trim and legs. The attached tag only states the fabric as being, "100% polyurethane foam" and does not show the actual fiber/fabric content. It has rich, multi-colors with kitchen spice tones such as nutmeg, cinnamon, saffron, pumpkin, ginger, paprika, sage, etc. I also see some light cranberry/burgandy/maroon. The design has kind of swirls and swooshes (not quite feathers) and a paisley design. The patterns are outlined in black or very dark brown. The style, colors and patterns look like they would appeal to men and women and are not too masculine or too feminine looking. ~~I am not sure what type of wood was used on the trim. It looks like a type of hardwood such as mahogany. It could be cherry or cherrywood/cherry wood, but it does not appear that shiny and red tinted as cherry wood usually does. I can't tell if it is all wood or a mixture of some other material, but being that this is a newer c hair, I am guessing that it is not all wood. ~~There is a nice wood carved /carving design on the top front. There are also nice carved medallions /circles on the lower legs and end of the arm section. The edges of the fabric are f inished in timeless metal looking nail heads (brass?). ~~I would consider this a medium sized and medium weight chair. It was made in China and carried by jcp home/J.C. Penney/Penney's. There is a manufacturing d ate which looks to read 2018, but I am not 100% sure of that. ~~The fabric of the chair looks to be in very good condition with no apparent rips, tears, snags, stains, loose threads, etc. There may be glares/glaring looks due to lighting or camera flash. There is some scuffing, wear and scratches on some of the wood sections. There is also some discoloration on the bottom legs. I have not tried to clean any of the wood or remove any of the previous mentioned issues. The pictures show the flaws pretty well, but please email me if you have additional questions. I think, all in all, the chair looks to be in pretty good shape and not used excessively. The previous owner disclosed that she only used it in her bedroom occasionally and not on a daily basis. ~~I had forgotten to take measurements when I photographed the chair.
