For Sale: 1989 Mercedes-Benz 230GE in Reno, Nevada for sale in Reno, NV

1 of 23
Vehicle Description For sale is an extremely rare 1989 Mercedes (Puch) 230GE.
This G model is an ex Swiss army vehicle and is in great condition, virtually rust free and very clean (pls see pictures for details).
It comes with Mercedes 18 Aluminum wheels, Original Mercedes classic G Wagon Seats, new custom canvas soft top (top of the line stayfast material).
Sides and back can be rolled up and open separately.
125HP gasoline engine, transfer case for 2x4 or 4x4 as well as low range and diff-lock at the rear axle.
The roofline for the canvas top has been lowered to match the German Military G Wagons, which makes this G a true one of a kind.
It displays it's military history with many details like the jerry can holder, 24V switch, pintle hook hitch, spade/shovel holder etc.
.
I imported this vehicle from Germany and it is currently titled in Oregon and located in Reno NV.
It comes with a clean OR title (Vehicle is titled as a PUCH since it's a Swiss model and G Wagons are sold in Switzerland and Austria under the PUCH brand).
If you are looking at this you already know that the swiss military meticulously maintains their vehicles and it shows on this one.
The odometer shows approximately 5,000km.
It's possible that this would be 105,000km (65k miles) as the odometer only has 5 digits and it may have turned over.
Unfortunately there is no military paperwork for this vehicle so the 5k vs 105k km will remain an open question (gas linkage is very firm so it could be 5k based on that, but your guess is as good as mine).
Runs and drives as it should; Tires are 95%.
Asking $75,000 or OBO.
If seriously interested pls send me an email with your name and number and I will contact you as soon as I can.
