Customer Service Associate

We have an excellent career opportunity as a Customer Service Associate in our Reno, NV National Call Center.
The positions are full time, Monday to Friday.
The shift available is 7am to 4pm.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service Associates take inbound calls from Anixter's internal salespeople.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to customer order modifications, tracing and tracking orders, carrier inquiries, and resolving customer complaints.
Calls are logged live into a database where information is communicated between distribution centers and sales force.
Call Center Customer Service Associates work closely with other Anixter departments to support customer needs.
Qualifications:
1 years' experience in a professional environment or successful completion of 1 year of college level coursesExperience working with many different computer-based applications (aptitude to learn different applications), including typing and 10-keyProcess oriented, specifically ability to think linearly through process to develop effective solutionsHighly organized and detail orientedAbility to multitask, specifically the ability to manage multiple competing prioritiesAbility to work with multiple different personalities; ability to build relationships quickly via telephone and emailSelf-directed, but able to work effectively as part of a teamComfortable being measured through performance metricsExcellent problem-solving skillsQuick learner, thrives in a fast-paced environmentUnderstanding of warehousing or distribution processes is a plusWe offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental and 401K with a match and tuition reimbursement.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
