You must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 level that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity and that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience is further defined as experience in a Federal civilian service human resources environment advising managers and supervisors on recruitment strategies, building job announcements, rating and ranking applicants, and issuing certificates; applying human resource methodologies, principles, and practices relating to the functional areas of recruitment, and applying the appropriate Executive Orders, laws, rules, regulations and policies related to these functional areas; OR possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR completed three (3) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related; OR a combination of education and experience described above. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement. Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade requirement in accordance with 5 CFR 300.604. If you are a current Federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must have completed a minimum of 52 weeks at the next lower grade level. Physical Demands:
Work performed nm sedentary in nature. Work may require walking in office and similar areas for meetings and to conduct HR work. The work does not require any special physical effort. Work Environment:
Offices and meeting spaces are adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. The employee experiences everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
