Here's what a day in the life of an entry level Field Services Technician looks like
Our entry level Casino Services Technician's core responsibility is to troubleshoot and resolve semi-routine technical issues by:
Carrying out activities and services related to installation, servicing, maintenance and upgrading of gaming systems and equipment.
Development of semi-routine techniques and approaches.
Resourceful problem solver who can troubleshoot in a Casino Services market environment.
Executes assigned projects and casino services activities.
Makes pre-installation site visits to identify parts and wiring requirements at customer location.
Performs all prep tests including assurance that hardware, firmware and system interfaces are accurate and functional via:
Installation efforts: Delivers and installs product on customer's floor
Hardware and software conversions and upgrades
Performs assigned portions of planned preventative maintenance
Responds to customer issues for games and system interface
Identifies and coordinates ordering of parts when needed
Supports software and system integration verification tests for jackpots
Performs accurate and timely tracking and reporting on activities utilizing SAP and other software tools
Tracks labor and tracks and reports issues through AR and Quality Control
Inputs SAP transactions and logistics First Year Goals Ability to carry out activities and services related to installation, servicing, maintenance and upgrading of gaming systems and equipment.
Has created a developed semi-routine of techniques and approaches.
Performs all prep tests including assurance that hardware, firmware and system interfaces are accurate and functional. Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Clean Driving required
Able to pass a thorough background check for Casino gaming Licenses
Strong organizational skills
Self motivator
AC DC fundamentals
Reading and translating wiring diagrams
Maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting to component/circuit level
Testing programs with verification devices such as Kobetron and Chip Comparator
Troubleshooting with input and output tests
Preferred Qualifications 1 - 3 years of experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electronics, electro-mechanical, telecom or computer equipment required preferable with IGT equipment and gaming system products.
Experience in setting up computer networks and A plus Certification, N plus Certification or similar is preferred. Special requirements needed Able to lift 50 lbs or more
Able to stand an eight hour shift
Work overtime as needed
Must be at least 21 years of age
Able to obtain a Gaming License
Valid driver license and clean driving record

Pass a background check
Available to work on weekends
