Responsibilities to include, but not be limited to:
Manage warehouse operations, such as: container unloading, palatalizing, shrink wrapping, receiving, storage, cross dock operations, the order picking process, including being responsible for order pulling and timely loading of delivery trucks.
Maintains receiving, warehousing, shipping and/or distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Plan the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organize special requirements for certain stock, such as items of varying sizes.
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
Ensures that all material handling equipment is serviced and in operating condition.
Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met
Works with other managers and supervisors of all departments to improve production output, quality, and communication.
Understands company policies and ensures adherence.
Sets and tracks goals for improving accuracy and production, determine SWOTs and develop action plan to address, follow-up to ensure goals are met.
Responsible for determining priority of ever-changing deadlines and issues - problem solving for solutions, and delegating appropriately.
Responsible for selection, on-boarding, coaching, re-training, and performance reviews of all employees. Also responsible for disciplining, and terminating employees. Must be able to build strong groups to work as a team to meet goals. Responsible for developing action plans to control attrition from recruiting through the training process.
Provides required and information training to employees in accordance lines, working with other leaders to reach company goals.
Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. First Year Goals Understand the warehouse SAP system and physical processes required

Adopt existing objectives and ensure execution Required Qualifications High School graduate with two years higher education or equivalent required.
3-5 years supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse environment, and facilitating change and lead principles; Management level experience preferred.
Excellent leadership, negotiation and organizational skills
Strong working knowledge of storage, order picking/packing and shipping techniques
Working knowledge of WMS and/or ERP systems
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
Solid ability to lead, motivate, and influence employees
Strong detail orientation and cost reduction/process improvement focus
Strong ability to build relationships and networks with multiple functions
Ability to delegate duties
Solid problem-solving skills
Ability to efficiently and effectively handle shifting and multiple priorities
Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level
Able to speak in front of large groups of people and make presentations effectively presenting complex topics in a concise manner to audiences at various levels and in various sizes
Preferred Qualifications Four year degree in logistics or warehousing preferred
Membership in a recognized logistics/warehouse organization preferred Special requirements needed Security Investigation
Must be at least 18 years of age
Available to work on weekends

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
