This position is responsible for managing material flow throughout the plant and ensuring inventory accuracy through SAP. This includes ensuring incoming material information is listed accurately in all receipts, daily cycle counts are set up and performed, daily JIRA escalations are created/updated, and troubleshooting picking and receiving discrepancies. This position will also act as a point person to escalate and/or assist in troubleshooting logistics issues escalated by Team Members. RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:
Allocate and adjust assigned labor to manage material flow throughout the plant using SAP and visual tools (e.g. Kanban, Receiving, Picking, MH, etc.). Create and maintain standard work and SOPs Assist in cycle counting as required Resolving real time logistics issues (e.g. Shortages, Zero stock checks) and appropriately escalating systemic issues. May be required to operate material handling equipment. (forklift, reach, tugger, etc.) Process Vendor/Production returns in SAP. Escalate stock outs to purchasing and CARE as required Other duties as assigned by Management ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Must be in Logistics VSO to be considered Minimum 2 years' experience in a logistics role OR previous experience in a similar role Experience with automated material handling equipment e.g. Walkie/Tugger/Fork Truck Proficiency in basic troubleshooting of inventory, receiving and other WH Issues Experience with SAP Logistics Transactions a bonus
