Nevada Connections Academy (NCA) is a tuition-free, online public school that serves students in grades K 12 throughout Nevada. The school was launched in 2007 as a distance education charter school authorized by the Nevada State Board of Education, and is governed by an independent Board of Directors. The school is operated by Nevada Connections Academy, a nonprofit corporation, through a contract with Connections Academy of Nevada, LLC, to provide its educational program and other services. Connections Academy, a division of Connections Education, is accredited by AdvancED, and NCA is accredited by the Northwest Accreditation Commission.
Position
Summary:
The Assistant Principal for Operations will support school leadership by ensuring all aspects of school data tracking and reporting are accurate, timely, and made actionable by team members. The position will be full-time, office-based in Reno, and report to the School Director. The successful candidate will be well versed in the use of Connexus, and all other proprietary software used by Connections. Additionally, he or she will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office/Google for the purposes of extracting, manipulating, presenting, and storing both grade level and school level data reports.
Position
Responsibilities:
Monitor and provide supervision in state reporting and data tracking for all students, with a particular focus on High School.
Monitor and ensure the timely and accurate procurement and inputting of student records.
Monitor and enforce the school's truancy and Unresponsive protocols.
Support the HS and K-8 Principals and their respective leadership teams in the identification of key data trends, the formulation of action plans, and supporting teacher accountability.
Support the Director of Testing in the design and execution of a comprehensive testing plan, with a focus on data integrity and accuracy.
Support the counseling team by ensuring the accuracy of student data and efficient processes.
Directly manage administrative support staff.
Manage (directly and indirectly) career ladder instructional staff (Teacher Managers).
Collaborate with the School Office Manager on cross-departmental projects requiring shared use of resources and time.
Manage Title I and Title IIa programs with the assistance of Corporate Staff.
Ensure compliance with all external reporting deadlines, with a focus on those related to state reporting of graduates and dropouts.
Requirements
Ability to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Previous instructional and/or managerial experience in virtual schools is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with state-required reporting and managing student data is strongly preferred.
Master's Degree with Nevada Administrative Licensure is preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
