Sierra Nevada Job Corps (managed and run by Management & Training Corporation) offers young adults vocational training in a variety of trades. Located 12 miles north of Reno, Nevada, the sprawling 40-acre campus provides outstanding recreational opportunities, well-equipped learning labs and individualized, self-paced vocational and academic programs including high school diploma and GED programs.

Essential Functions This is an On Call position.
Provide students with career training instruction in designated area of instruction.
Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems or study habits.
Administer and correct tests.
Participate in providing hands-on activities for students as part of career exploration; provide feedback to the career preparation staff.
Education and Experience General knowledge of any of the following:
plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, cement, maintenance, welding, medical office support, business. Classroom experience preferred. Must be able to become certified, licensed or accredited in the state of Nevada or accredited by a professional trade organization within a reasonable time frame. One year experience in field of instruction. Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
