The University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM) and the Department of Speech Pathology & Audiology in Reno, Nevada are growing! We are seeking a full-time, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Speech Pathology who wishes to develop and conduct a program of research including supervision of student research, as well as provide clinical services, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise graduate student clinicians, and provide student advisement. The State of Nevada has no state income tax!
The successful candidate must:
Possess a Ph.D. and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
ABD and CCC in Speech Language Pathology considered if completed by start date
Be eligible for, obtain, and maintain a Nevada State License to practice speech pathology and professional liability insurance
Our program is housed within the School of Medicine and offers undergraduate, masters and doctoral degrees in Speech Pathology. It is the only accredited program in the State of Nevada. The University of Nevada is a Carnegie Comprehensive Doctoral Research Institution.
Reno is located at the base of our Sierra Nevada mountainous area which offers outstanding four seasons living one hour from beautiful Lake Tahoe and the amenities of a university town with excellent schools, arts and entertainment, and outdoor recreation including skiing, snowshoeing, fishing, hunting, cycling and off road exploring. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
