Job Responsibilities
As a Local Truck Driver with you will be responsible for the safe and reliable transport of finished goods to Company distribution points. This includes operating a forklift to unload trailer and reload.
Additional
Responsibilities:
o Operating transport vehicle safely, ensuring vehicle meets all DOT laws and Company standards
o Verifying in/loads and out/loads
o Accurately tracking work hours/schedules and mileage
o Documenting required pre-trip and post trip inspection of truck and notifying management of any quality or safety issues
o Maintaining cleanliness of equipment
Truck Driver requirements:
o Valid Class A CDL
o Pass DOT physical and drug testing requirements
o Clean driving record and ability to meet Company Qualification Policy
o Ability to stoop, bend, stand and lift up to50 pounds
o Good communication and math skills
o Flexibility to work weekends and various shiftsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
