Position Summary
Creates high quality digital graphics, including animation, models, logos, symbols, special effects, etc. for a variety of graphically oriented gaming projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop artwork and graphics animation for video-based gaming projects
Develop vector based artwork for gaming signage
Design, conceptualize and storyboard artwork (digital and/or traditional)
Schedule and manage time efficiently - work with agile development leaders to plan work
Assist other artists or projects, mentor if needed and perform other duties as assigned
Various production duties including (but not limited to):
--Game Documentation
--Game Prototyping
--Tradeshow artwork support
--Research and recommend improvements to existing pipelines
Special Applicant Requirements
Candidates must be prepared to do a work test in the screening process. Candidates asked to interview on site will be required to participate in a real work scenario.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The physical demands of typical office positions are expected. The ability to sit and perform terminal/computer work for lengthy periods is expected. This is a non-smoking office environment.
Required Skills:
Excellent working knowledge in 3 of the 4 Adobe Suite products: Illustrator, Flash, Photoshop and After Effects.
Graphic design capability, layout expertise and good understanding of vector and raster graphics required.
Knowledge and professional working experience with 2D graphic design, creating clean readable artwork that can be marketing-ready.
Strong knowledge of 2D graphic design/motion graphics and understanding of animation principles.
Proficiency in FLASH; understanding of exporting movie types, action scripting, working with libraries, symbols, integration with Adobe Illustrator OR proficiency with After Affects in motion graphics for exporting to various platforms.
Understanding of 2D animation and/or character rigging techniques desirable.
Ability to sketch or draw (digital or traditional) concepts and ideas, storyboarding, required.
Understanding of color theory and composition required.
Flexibility with various artistic styles required.
Understanding of print formats and setup techniques.
Knowledge of casino gaming industry a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent, plus a Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent work experience in 2D/3D animation, graphic design or video games
4
years' work experience in digital media and design or video games or casino gaming

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
