This position is located in Reno at the Campus Pharmacy. Campus Pharmacies are operated under the University of Nevada School of Medicine, which is a statewide, community-based medical school that has served Nevada for more than 40 years as its only public medical school.
The full-time Managing Pharmacist is responsible for the overall daily operation of the pharmacy department, including but not limited to, operational collaboration with the Director of Pharmacy Operations in Las Vegas and the Chairman of Pharmacology in Reno; purchasing; preparation and distribution of drugs; clinical collaboration and interaction with medical staff; and appropriate/timely submission/reconciliation of drug claims and overall management of drug inventory and compliance.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from a regionally accredited institution and five years experience OR Master's Degree and four years OR Doctorate Degree and two years experience as a pharmacist, to include one year as a Pharmacy Manager. Must be a licensed Pharmacist (RPH) in the State of Nevada by the time of hire.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
