Our client is a global consumer products and industrial products manufacturer with locations around the globe. Our client is currently growing rapidly in the United States market, and is looking for highly talented individuals to join the executive management team.

II. Position
Summary:
The Vice President of Marketing reports directly to the CEO and is a member of the Company's executive team. The VP of Marketing will be responsible for providing executive leadership and management of the Company's marketing organization for the current and new product divisions. This includes corporate marketing, partner/channel marketing, product marketing and product management. The VP Marketing will drive the Company's efforts to position itself as a visionary leader in its emerging market.

III. Position
Responsibilities:
o Define the appropriate marketing organization for the company's maturity/size.
o Be a role model for the company's culture.
o Strategic planning including corporate positioning, market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product positioning.
o Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, events collateral materials, analysis and market research management, and website design and content (either directly or on an outsourced basis).
o Define and direct marketing programs for demand creation, lead generation and interface with sales VP for lead tracking and management.
o Work closely with VP Sales to develop and manage channel and partner strategies and programs.
o Oversee product management including market and customer research for market and product requirements, interface with engineering for product development, product pricing and product lifecycle management.
o Oversee product marketing including product launch management, sales training, presentations, sales tools, competitive analysis and general sales support.
o Work with the CEO and the other executive team members to identify and develop strategic alliances, raise capital (if needed), communicate with Body members, and close/grow major customer accounts.
o Develop and manage the Company's entire marketing budget.
o Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities.

IV. Position Requirements:
o 10 years marketing experience in comparable industries with 4 years in a senior management position.
o Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.
o Exceptional track record of developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives, providing personal leadership through example.
o Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven team oriented environment.
o Strong strategic planning and analysis skills in sales, marketing, and business strategy.
o Ability to grow into CMO.
o MBA preferred, but not required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
