Estimator (Tilt-up Industrial & Commercial Building Construction)
Location: Reno, Nevada.
Salary: $90K-$100K.
Relocation: Yes, relocation assistance will be provided for highly qualified candidates.

Please confirm that you have experience estimating on tilt-up industrial as well as commercial building projects, as both experience profiles are necessary in order for a candidate to be considered qualified for this position.

Our client is a well-known, and well respected, national full-service general construction company based in Reno, Nevada. Our client works with light industrial, tilt up industrial, commercial building, and big-box / warehouse building projects throughout the United States.

II. Position
Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Estimator, the Estimator's primary responsibility is to develop conceptual budgets, estimates and proposals for industrial and commercial infrastructure and building projects as assigned and ensure they are completed in accordance with company objectives and goals.

III. Position Responsibilities & Duties:
o Prepare conceptual estimates for Design-Build, Design-Assist and Negotiated industrial and commercial building construction projects.
o Prepare detailed accurate estimates at schematic, design development and construction document level of design.
o Develop material take-offs, labor/equipment pricing for self-performed work and subcontractor budgeting.
o Review and validate subcontractor bids and proposed schedules.
o Assist with developing project schedules.
o Present estimates to management and customers.
o Prepare cost studies, trend estimates, life cycle and ROI cost estimates.
o
Experience:
o Timberline Estimating and On-Screen Take-Off.
o Estimating small, medium and large industrial/commercial building and TI projects.
o Working in a collaborative estimating team environment.
o With all components of site work, concrete, steel, roofing and MEP trades.
o Working knowledge of BIM a plus.

IV. Position Requirements:
o To perform this job successfully, an individual must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
o Education/
Experience: Ten years of progressively responsible experience in construction estimating with a General Contractor or a Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years' construction estimating experience with a General Contractor or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Must have valid Nevada driver's license before reporting to work.
