Position Purpose:
Under the direction of the Revenue Cycle Information Technology Manager, the RCIT Supervisor acts as the intermediary between Revenue Cycle Leaders and Application Specialists/Report Writers while overseeing IT/system work and development done across the Revenue Cycle. Ensures department performance is in compliance with service level expectations. Maintains solid working relationships with all customers served by the RCIT department, including sub-licensee stakeholders.
Nature and Scope:
Incumbent will manage the business units work requests and coordinate a timely response to issues while coordinating build efforts across applications and organizational units. Must be able to prioritize customer needs and expectations in addition to the skills set noted below:
Demonstrate the ability to lead teams.
Demonstrate Project Management Skills, own project plans in designated area and uses Microsoft project or other tools to track tasks and manage project plans.
Perform capacity planning and facilitate project scheduling to maximize resources and productivity.
Ensure the health system has a high-functioning, credentialed, and trained team to support Revenue Cycle at all times.
Develops and oversees processes that will ensure standards are maintained while requiring optimal productivity from the application and reporting teams.
Oversee building, testing and supporting files within assigned products and scope.
Coordinate resources with other teams in order to facilitate work and project completion, may coordinate and/or participate in testing efforts.
Facilitate responses to Support Issues to successful resolution.
Maintain a solid understanding of the business and operational aspects of the Hospital and Professional Revenue Cycle, and the software/hardware used.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of Data Architecture and Integration concepts and strategies, experienced in designing data integration solutions preferred.
Investigate end users preference while making build decisions about the underlying needs of the organization and user community, while navigating choices involved in application specifications.
Oversee the building, testing and supporting files/systems within assigned products and scope.
Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic software.
Analyze business operations as they relate to build decisions, prioritize and implement requested changes to the system.
Collect information regarding potential system enhancement needs, and analyze new functionality in releases to determine how/if it should be used, and review and test each new release.
Develop clear and concise process flows and supporting documentation for business owners and units.
Set and adhere to standards for naming and numbering conventions and security classifications using the Epic Style Guide for Master File Naming and Numbering Conventions.
Create and maintain detailed build documentation.
Troubleshoot problems and questions from end users.
Demonstrates the ability to work on multiple, complex projects with high quality results.
Maintain regular communication with Epic Technical Service representatives.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Demonstrate the ability manage projects and work load independently, as well as part of a team.

Minimum
Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Education:
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.
Bachelor's Degree in a health, science, or business fieldpreferred.
Experience:
3
years experience working in a Healthcare setting, physician practice or hospitalrequired.
Project Management certification, or equivalent experiencepreferred.
License(s):
Certification(s):
EPIC Application Specific Certification in ADT, Resolute HB, Resolute PB, Claims, Real-Time Eligibility, Cadence, Clarity, Single Billing Office (SBO), or applicable modulewithin one year of hire required.
Computer / Typing:
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Project and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
Experience in IT Project Management/Help Desk Software preferred.
