Actuarial Analyst II
New York, NY is preferred; will consider other locations
The Actuarial Analyst II will complete projects and perform complex actuarial studies.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
The selected associate will immerse themselves in and learn many aspects of the Valuation process complete through Statutory reporting.
Support pricing, forecasting, and cost of care activity for the East Local Actuarial Team.
Obtains, verifies, analyzes and models data including risk reporting and forecasting.
Prepare Department of Insurance annual statement exhibits.
Requires a BS/BA degree; required to have passed at least three Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exams; at least 1 year related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
