We have an opening for 2 Application Architects. These positions maybe filled as Application Architect or Application Architect Senior. The level will be determined by the incumbents experience and skill-set in relation to the position.
Application Architect
The Application Architect will create architectural solutions that articulate the business context, conceptual design, and component-level logical design. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Contributes to overall systems architecture vision and ensures specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged. Contributes to defining architecture standards and anticipate areas where architecture standards may need to be developed that are in-line with customer, IT and industry standards. Verifies efficient utilization of hardware and storage capacity. Develops linkage and relationship of architectural components. Identifies service requirements, component capacities and loads for planned business growth. Reviews an application/technology for conformance to the current architecture and standards.
Application Architect Senior
The Application Architect Senior will create architectural solutions that articulate the business context, conceptual design, and component-level logical design. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Recommends new technologies based upon business value drivers and return on investment; drives new technologies towards implementation and exploitation. Establishes overall systems architecture vision and ensures specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged; contributes to the holistic vision of Enterprise Architecture. Defines architecture standards and anticipate areas where architecture standards may need to be developed that are in-line with customer, IT and industry standards. Directs the construction of architecture components (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture). Works with business units to translate business strategy into discrete requirements compatible with current technical architectures. Defines systems, technical, and application architectures for new strategic initiatives; develops and maintains an architectural blueprint and evolutionary roadmap that defines and communicates the strategic direction for these architectures in support of business and technical strategies; Explains how the roadmap maintains and delivers cost effectiveness, business value, and competitiveness.
This position may work out of the Indianapolis, IN; Reno, NV; Cincinnati, OH; Albany, NY; South Portland, ME; Roanoke, VA or Columbus, GA offices.
Application Architect
Requires Bachelor's degree in related field; 3 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 8 years of experience in information technologies and/or 4 years of experience in health care industry preferred.
Application Architect Senior
Requires Bachelor's degree in related field; Five years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MS/MA degree preferred. ten years of experience in information technologies and/or Six years of experience in health care industry preferred.
Specific Requirements
.Net development experience
Experience with Oracle 11g and DB2 UDB 9.7
Windows Web application knowledge
Understand and application of the Service Oriented Architecture framework
Experience working within a SDLC environment
Knowledge of the Rational development tool sets
Understand the UML development process concepts

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
