Sierra Nevada Job Corps is currently looking for a Cook in our Food Service Department (Mon: 12pm-8:30pm, Tue & Wed: OFF, Thu & Fri: 12pm-8:30pm, Sat & Sun: 7am-3:30pm) whose primary duties will include shift supervision of cafeteria services including cafeteria attendants and cafeteria assistants. Job Duties:
Prepare quantity of food required according to the menu and the number of students.
Assist in instructing cafeteria attendants and cafeteria assistants in the safe hygienic method of preparing appetizing, eye-appealing meals.
Maintain kitchen equipment in orderly working condition; ensure work area is safe, clean and sanitary at all times.
Assist in cleaning kitchen work areas following each meal.
Provide shift supervision as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent and one year related experience required
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. Apply online atEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
