The manufacturing environment at IGT is fast-paced and often challenging. IGT is currently accepting resumes for the role of IGT Operations Coordinator. The Operations Coordinator is a front line position, reporting to the area Supervisor. This position supports the resolution of issues related to the logistics of material movement, and production flow through collaboration with numerous cross-functional departments.
Oversees and coordinates staffing assignments in specified area(s) and assists the supervisor with direction of employees to meet daily goals.
Solves problems in resourceful ways by taking immediate action and participating in the identification of root causes.
Ensures accurate and efficient material and production flow to meet established schedules.
Recognizes changes from routine practices and takes appropriate next steps utilizing critical thinking skills.
Motivates, trains and mentors less experienced employees to achieve department goals. This may include training of cross-functional employees on the procedures and processes of the assigned area.
Supports the activities of the area assigned to follow approved policies and applicable procedures.
Compiles area metrics, reports, and performance levels as required. This may include reporting to higher level Manufacturing Management.
Analyze/research documentation to identify root causes for problems and communicate findings to the supervisor with suggestions to resolve the issues.
Track, monitor and report on backlog.
Monitor and utilize Manufacturing Information System (MIS), MATRIX and/or databases required to perform daily activities in and around manufacturing.
Create and monitor Serena cases and expedite to appropriate areas for issue resolution.
Utilize SAP and provide input to the supervisor for process improvements and measure the effectiveness of the changes.
Provide support to all employees in the area to ensure they are equipped with all tools, training and documentation to perform their tasks.
Expedite material returns/reconciliation daily.

Required Qualifications
2 to 3 years previous experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment preferred
High School diploma or equivalent, Associates degree preferred.
Must place a high priority on attendance and punctuality
Must have experience with most MS Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
Preferred Qualifications Experience with Issue Tracking Software/database and Enterprise Resource Systems (e.g. Serena and SAP) are preferred.
