The University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM) is currently seeking an Adult Psychiatrist at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor who has experience with diverse populations. This full or part-time, non-tenure track position is responsible for clinical and classroom teaching of adult psychiatry medical students and psychiatry residents, including clinical supervision and small group teaching. This position will also provide direct clinical care in clinical settings affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
Requirements: Applicants must have an MD, DO, or equivalent degree with successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency by the time of hire. Must be ABPN certified in general psychiatry within 2 years of hire date. Must have excellent communication skills. Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, malpractice insurance, and must be able to be successfully credentialed by Northern Nevada teaching hospitals. Teaching experience with medical students and psychiatry residents, teaching or subspecialty training in areas other than child/adolescent and previous publication in biomedical journals are desirable.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
