The Software Developer/Quality Assurance Resource will be responsible for developing applications and integrations using the Microsoft SQL Server platform. This position requires excellent communication, technical and project management skills.
Provide additional solution design and development services required for the project
Establish and lead periodic code reviews with the lead designer/developer
Support ad hoc reporting requests
Ensure calculations are correct
Ensure generated reports and data are correct
Identify incremental business or process requirements in support of the program
Assist in drafting/reviewing/finalizing Business Requirements Document
Assist in drafting/reviewing/finalizing combined Functional/Technical Specifications
Provide input to the Operations Guide
Provide input to the Training Materials and Process and Procedures documents
Design and document the overall test approach
Create trace matrix to business requirements
Create test cases
Create test scripts creation
Lead all test efforts (Unit, System, and User Acceptance Testing)
Log defects
Triage, prioritize, and schedule defects for fixes
Regress fixed defects
Assist in drafting the disaster recovery documentation
Associates Degree/Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science or similar field of study
1-3 three years SQL experience preferred
Ability to work with SQL statements
Highly experienced at working with complex databases
Manage data permissions
Build low-level HTML/ASPX front end
Basic to intermediate PowerPoint skills
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
Problem-solving and analytical skills
