Position Purpose:
The Clinical Data Analyst is responsible for ongoing analysis of health care information, obtained from a variety of sources including patient care, financial, and demographic data. The position will prepare statistical and narrative reports, and participate in the analysis and interpretation of data, as appropriate. The position will maintain and ensure quality control issues of different databases. The position may assist in the development and implementation of a measurement system that is focused on the clinical process improvements that drive the operation of the business.
Nature and Scope:
The Clinical Data Analyst will provide professional quality administrative support todepartment leadership in the day-to-day coordination of activities with the combined responsibility of data management. This position will proactively assist in multiple projects, ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities in a timely, effective and efficient manner ensuring the success of projects.
This position will perform advanced to highly complex level of analytical work under limited supervision.The position will collect, analyze, format, and display data in accordance with the standards of Renown Health and other accrediting agencies. This position assists with the accreditation and regulatory requirements, performance improvement, service level guarantees and other data mining and report generation activities.
. The incumbent must be highly organized; detail oriented and has the ability to communicate effectively with physicians, staff and patients.
The position is expected to serve as a role model to the staff in work performance, ethical practices, efficiency, and to facilitate the development and implementation of a team process. The incumbent must be prepared to participate as a member of the departmental team to achieve business goals and quality outcomes.

Minimum
Qualifications:Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Education:
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking. Bachelors degree in Public Health, Business, statistics, or related field is required.
Experience:
Minimum two years progressively responsible experience in database or database application
design and implementation. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in health
care systems or medical terminology.

Computer / Typing:
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, Outlook,PowerPoint, and Word andhave the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
