Software Product Assurance Engineer

Develop software tools, hooks and automation to support test plans. Create and maintain automated build verification test cases and frameworks. Participate in the testing and verification process of software systems in IGTs gaming products for multiple projects and review the work of other engineers. Review product documentation and packages. Investigate escalated technical field issues. Write test plans and scripts for new and existing products. Generate and review test results. Document test methods and findings, summarize results and recommend fixes. Perform troubleshooting and research into errors before communicating to engineering. Participate in creating test standards. Test IGT gaming software to ensure it meets required customer jurisdictional and functionality specifications and regulatory requirements. Perform ad hoc, black box and white box testing. Work closely with software development and test automation engineers.
Employer will accept Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Experience may be gained concurrently. Education or experience must include:
1. Test planning, developing test cases, test automation, test execution, and white box testing;
2. Developing software tools, hooks, and automation to support test plans utilizing C#.NET, Java, Jscripts, XML, and SQL;
3. Test automation utilizing C#.NET and C+
for API;
4. Game testing in Windows and Linux environments;
5. Utilizing automation frameworks for API and game testing in Windows;
6. Utilizing Visual Studio and Unit Testing to build and execute test cases;
7. Software tool development and support for User Interface applications in Windows environments to increase quality and velocity of test;
8. Three (3) years of experience in project management; and
9. Three (3) years of experience with software engineering design processes.
