Associate General Counsel
Duties: Provide legal oversight and guidance to all levels of the organization. Advise leadership on legal issues of importance to the health networks operations, and supervise the representation of the health network in many legal proceedings.
Qualifications: A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. Member in good standing of at least one US State Bar with ability to obtain Nevada Bar. 5
years of experience in healthcare law matters. Advanced knowledge of law applicable to the delivery of healthcare services. Specifically, must possess extensive experience in the following areas drafting, negotiating and analyzing legal issues related to physician and health care operations contracts, including medical director, call coverage, physician recruitment and hospital based arrangements; research and analysis with respect to compliance with the federal and state health care laws and regulations (including Stark Laws, federal Anti-kickback Statute, False Claims Act, Civil Monetary Penalty Statute, HIPAA and state health records privacy matters, federal health care program requirements, including the Medicare and Medicaid programs; accreditation and licensure issues and medical staff and credentialing matters; patient care, risk management and bioethical issues. Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiating skills. Detailed knowledge of federal and state laws applicable to healthcare providers and plans. Knowledge of judicial and administrative agency systems and procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical, research and negotiation skills. Excellent independent judgment. Must be able to communicate clearly and promptly, both in writing and verbally. Must effectively collaborate with and support attorneys and other staff and provide management of outside counsel, as needed. Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
