VP Operations (Mineral Processing)

We are currently working with a
mineral processing
operation in the Reno, NV area in need of a
VP Operations
with 20
years experience. This VP Operations will lead a turnaround project focused on streamlining operations and upgrading the facility including milling, furnace, conveyors and other heavy production equipment.
The VP Operations role will have strong emphasis on Engineering Management, Strategic Planning, and Financial Payback on capital projects. A background in
mining or mineral processing
is preferred. The VP Operations will identify and lead capital projects focused on improving throughput, efficiency and quality while improving the overall bottom line in this mineral processing operation.
This would be an excellent position for a change agent interested in making a 2-3 year commitment to lead the upgrade of an entire facility. The VP Operations will have the support of top management to make necessary upgrades, plus there is an excellent team in place at the facility.
Qualified candidates for the VP Operations role should have knowledge of smelting, mineral processing, chemical processing, or extraction of ore.
Compensation is dependent upon on experience, but the company can offer a strong base salary along with a lucrative bonus program.
