Job Description:
Provides personal computer hardware and software installation, configuration and troubleshooting for internal customers.
Performs installations and troubleshooting functions quickly and efficiently while producing a quality product.
Consults with user departments to identify application opportunities, application justification and hardware/software requirements.
Works with other team members to improve the processes needed to provide quality support for all customers.
Updates and maintains on-line problem tracking information.
Communicates effectively in oral and written form.
Enhances knowledge of existing and emerging technologies by acquiring certifications and attending training classes.
Develops solutions to business problems, codes programs and conducts research of technical issues.
Mandatory Skills:
HS Diploma required, College Degree preferred.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (9x, 2000 and XP), MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access.
Must have desktop and software install experience.
Must have Windows XP and Windows 7.
Intermediate knowledge of Intel based personal computer hardware configuration and installation.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve MS networking and client problems.
Two years of experience providing desktop support in a complex distributed computing environment.
Ability to communicate both orally and in written form.
Additional Information:
Hours are 7am-4pm. Overtime is required weekend of 5/16 - 5/18 until job is completed.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
