The following opportunity is available:
The Industrial Electronics Technology Instructor will be responsible for classroom instruction of Basic electronics with some combination of green technology, fiber optics communication, C++ programming, infrastructure cabling, security systems, or wireless communications. The Instructor will also be responsible for empathetically and enthusiastically help students grow and learn by creating a motivational atmosphere that fosters students' goals of preparing for entry level positions while holding students to the college's acceptable standard so must be accessible to students for mentoring. This job includes contributing to continued development of existing curriculum but will not create any curriculum, testing, or other class content. All Instructors are responsible for grading projects, test and assessments. Must monitor student progress and address obstacles as they arise with students.

Requirements include:
At least four years of verifiable working experience in electronics at the component level with applicable knowledge.
Prefer prior teaching experience with familiarity of instructional practices and procedures or training on how to teach technical content will be provided.
Must have specific experience with industrial electronics, C++ programming, wireless communication theory, infrastructure cabling, security systems, or green technology.
Must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule.
Must demonstrate high level of enthusiasm, professionalism and adaptability.
Proficient with specific software and all Microsoft office programs.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and in a calm and pleasant manner.
High level of organization and attention to detail with demonstrated Industrial Electronics Technology skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
