Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pmKey
Responsibilities:
Receives order requests for price quotes, confirmations, follow-ups and purchase ordersProcesses all orders, return authorizations, freight billing and changes or cancellations directly from customers/sales personnelResponds immediately to customer inquires/information needs and provides positive, courteous service to customers/sales personnelAnswers questions regarding product line, pricing and deliveries.
Provides proof of deliveries and samples of product as requestedReacts quickly, thoroughly and effectively to customer crises to assure satisfactory resolutionWork closely with sales managers and Supply Chain Department to review customer forecasts and pipelines to ensure timely delivery of scheduled shipmentsLook for opportunities to improve system processes through team collaboration and data cleansingSupport Management with daily, weekly & monthly reportingKeep managers and supervisors updated on customer developmentsPerforms other duties as assignedKey Requirements:
Proven customer service background with a minimum of 5 years customer service experience in the distribution/manufacturing industry in a similar or related functionDegree from an accredited college preferredAbility to type 35-40 wpmAbility to work with an ERP system, IFS experience a plusProficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced training in MS ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsWill thrive in a fast paced environment that is deadline driven with changing priorities on short noticeAbility to work independently with excellent time management skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to maintain composure during stressful situationsFlexibility to work overtime if needed with strict adherence to month-end time off blackout datesCooperative and open to learning the best practices of operating in a highly team-orientated corporate environmentIf you're ready to join our team, apply now and start work fast!Opportunity is everything.
