Now hiring in Reno, NV Generac is a leading technology company dedicated to designing and manufacturing cutting-edge power systems and solutionsOur innovative products cater to various industries, including renewable energy and grid-tied systemsAs we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking a highly skilled Staff Product Compliance Engineer with expertise in test standards and regulations including UL, CSA and IEEE, to ensure our products meet stringent regulatory requirementsIndependently lead UL, CSA, IEEE standards test planning and execution throughout pre-compliance, design phases and design iterations across Generac Clean Energy products Engage with NRTLs to drive compliance programsUtilize first principles thinking to drive engineering judgements with NRTL's/AHJ's navigating regulatory hurdlesDefine and execute the infrastructure build out for the Compliance Laboratory such as electrical power, test equipment, safety features, building temperature and humidity controls, etcExecute testing within ISO 17025 test facility requirementsLead internal and external compliance design reviews and FMEA activitiesDefine a library of common Compliance Test Procedures and associated automation scripts to standardize and optimize their executionBS in Electrical Engineeering(MS or PhD preferred) 6
