GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
To monitor and maintain the efficient use of all computer systems, including but not limited to LAN hardware and software systems management, AS/400 system operations and hardware.EXAMPLES OF DUTIES/
Essential Functions:
(Includes, but is not limited to the following.) o Provide specialized technical problem solving and problem resolution skills o Responds to telephone helpline calls and ensures all client/user support calls and service requests are handled or escalated in a timely manner. o Provides 1st level support for all systems including software and hardware for all platforms, problem determination/isolation, analyzing problem data, performing data analysis, documenting findings, escalating complex problems to the I.T. staff or service vendors and communication final resolution to clients and users. o Responsible for completion and documentation of all assigned day-to-day tasks/activities per the Daily Work Schedule for each system and shift. These functions include 1st level support for clients/users requests, systems backups, printing, routing, and other duties. o Maintain the confidential nature of matters pertaining to company records, policies, and customer lists. Ensure reports containing sensitive data as determined by management are shredded. o Maintain a log of all system downtime and report all extended downtime to the supervisor and/or manager. o Install, upgrade and maintain various hardware & software products. o Update's procedures and documentation for all platforms, including performing intermediate technical tasks. o Uses the help desk log to track and close all client/user calls or problems. o Perform all duties in a manner that ensures the I.T. Department will meet or exceed the measurable objectives for service level to clients/users and system availability. o Ensures the computer/equipment room is maintained at prescribed temperature levels and in a clean and orderly condition. o Provides one-on-one training for client/users as needed. o Monitors and reports system performance issues as necessary. o Participates in department driven projects. o Maintains property technical asset inventory. o Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures. o Exercise judgment when analyzing problems to determine if it warrants escalation o Practices, and adheres to system management criteria and policies and procedures. o Completes all other duties as assignedPERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent communication and language skills are required. Must be able to understand and comply with all company and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate verbally in English. Must be able to prioritize jobs instantly, as well as work under pressure. Must be able to multi-task and track progress of each task to completion. Must have working knowledge of the current version of AS/400 OS, Microsoft Office products, and other application software used on property. Must have working knowledge of computer and peripheral hardware. EDUCATION AND

Work is generally performed in an office environment but may also be required in unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky, dimly lit or illuminated areas; may have contact with solvents/oils, fumes/odors and dirt/dust. Work may be performed alone, with others, around others, with verbal contact and/or face-to-face contact, inside and/or outside. Work may include shift work and extended days. Work requires use of and/or knowledge of electrical, mechanical and flame/heat generated devices, and computer equipment. Work may be performed with moving objects, in high places and on slippery surfaces. TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:
(May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position). Requires mobility to include seldom reaching overhead, crawling, climbing, and balancing; occasional bending over, crouching, kneeling, pushing/pulling; frequent sitting, standing walking, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., repetitive use of both hands with light grasping, occasional firm/strong grasping and frequent finger dexterity with both hands. Requires normal vision range with occasional far acuity, frequent near acuity, depth perception, field of vision with or without correction and absence of color blindness. Requires the ability to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, and faxes. Requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols, perform simple and complex tasks, simple/complex reading, writing and simple math skills, clerical, coordination, analyzing, synthesizing, and instructing. Must be able to work precisely, follow instructions, influence others, meet time requirements, memorize, problem solve, use independent judgment and decision making skills.NOTE:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
