30 AM As a member of the Quality team, the Quality Assurance Technician plays a pivotal support role in a variety of day-to-day functions.
This includes assisting with tasks related to the quality of finished products, ingredients, and packaging materials.
Ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety practices are followed.
This position is considered a safety-sensitive position, meaning, a lapse of attention could adversely affect the safety of others by resulting in injury, illness, or death, including without limitation a position that includes the operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring of heavy equipment, machinery, or operation motorized vehicle.
In this role, you will:
Collect/Ensure measurements, test, and report results on various components to ensure they fall within specification ranges.
(Weight Verification, Label Verification Reports, etc.
).
Coordinate with production on regulatory and quality issues and document corrective actions.
Conduct monthly audits including GMPs and other in-house audits by preparing reports and following up with assigned corrective actions items.
Assist in the data collection and analysis of both analytical data and microdata.
Collect, coordinate, and ship out all micro testing and other quality testing as required and needed.
Synergy Shift monitoring and compliance.
Conduct and communicate holds on non-conformances.
Other duties as assigned.
