Position Summary Under the direct supervision of the HR Manager, this position performs a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records and reports; interacts with and supplies information to job applicants, employees, and department heads; provides assistance with and facilitates the human resource processes; resolves benefits-related problems; processes payroll using a computerized system; provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Additionally, this position requires a professional individual that has experience handling multi-line incoming calls, greeting visitors, typing correspondence, filing and processing mail; office supply ordering, sending out marketing material, formatting agendas, and other administrative tasks as assigned or needed.
The position will also coordinate, plan, and execute company social activities; order food for customer visits, and plan and schedule meetings.
Primary Responsibilities Handles employment requisitions, applications, and related processes Represents the company at career fairs Assists with new-employee orientations Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status Audits benefit records and reconciles benefit billings, assists with benefit administration Maintains the highest level of integrity and confidentiality at all times Assists the manager with HR projects Unquestionable dedication to complete Punctuality and exceptional attendance is required.
Must be flexible and be able to adjust quickly to changing deadlines Ability to work both within a team and also work independently Must be able to handle frequent interruptions and keep a smile in voice Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products Perform other related duties as assigned.
