Summary:
The IT Support Specialist 1 position will provide level 1 technical support to company employees.
This position will work with corporate and DPC IT teams.
Support could include other DPC business units.
Essential Functions Provide technical support for end users in person, via phone or remote access Provide timely resolutions directly or via defined escalation process Support general hardware and software technical issues.
Maintain and repair computer and peripheral devices New employee setup, deployment and onboarding Maintain inventory of software licenses and hardware Install and configure software on machines Assist users with local user backup Manage Windows security options and local vulnerabilities Purchase and provision of IT supplies Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, while managing multiple priorities Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Customer service orientation; strong interpersonal skills Skilled at resolving problems Ability to learn new technologies quickly Minimum Qualifications Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience Preferred 3-5 years related IT experience.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements Primary environment:
ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection.
The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to heights up to 25 feet Regularly required to communicate with others.
