Distribution Operator 4/Operations Assistant-Inventory Control
Major ResponsibilitiesoEnsures the hand-held terminals are maintained and fully charged, ready to update and download in a timely manneroEnsures that all receiving and/or shipping data entry is completed.
Takes daily counts of inventory and assures mis-picks are accounted for.
oPrepares all shipping and/or receiving documents accurately and in a timely manner oSchedules inbound and/or outbound appointments with carriersoDocument any and all discrepancies with paperwork on inbound and/or outbound shipments, notify supervisor on discrepanciesoStrong computer skills and the ability to multi task oStrong communication skills for internal and external customers oRegularly performs job duties at a rapid pace oFollow all safety policies & procedures; including, but not limited to wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Education Requirements oHigh School diploma or GED recommended oAbility to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionEnvironmental/Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
