Responsibilities This Scrub Tech opportunity is per diem and offers a flexible scheduleQuail Surgical and Pain Management Center in Reno, Nevada, is an outpatient surgical center dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.
Established by a group of community physicians, the goals of the founding physicians have not changed since they were established in 1999.
These goals focus on:
Streamlining the delivery of medical care so it is patient-centered to provide the highest quality services.
Making the outpatient surgery experience less anxiety producing.
Utilizing the most cost-effective measures for the patient and the healthcare delivery system so we can provide safe and affordable quality care.
Providing an environment which is aesthetically pleasing for the patient, physician and employee that promotes patient friendliness.
Reducing the risk of infection for our patients by always adhering to the most current safety standards in the industry.
Job Description:
Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures in the Operating Room and Pain Center.
Ensures operating suite is adequately prepared for procedure.
Monitors PAR level of all surgical instruments and Pain management supplies.
Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments used in the OR and Pain Center.
Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
Qualifications Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
Surgical Technician Certification required (within 6 months of hire) or verifiable hospital surgical tech experience prior to 1/1/2018.
Current BLS Certification.
Recommended Skills Basic Life Support Infectious Diseases Occupational Safety And Health Performance Improvement Outpatient Surgeries Operating Theater Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
