Consultant, Project Controls for our Reno, NV office.

In this opportunity, the ideal candidate will provide providing technical support for multiple project controls functions including scheduling, estimating, cost control, risk management, document control and project management information systems.
Our Aviation Team provides program/construction management, engineering and planning services for airports infrastructure including runways, taxiways, terminals and supports WSP's projects around the world.
The Aviation Team works on multiple projects simultaneously, in close coordination with other technical departments.

Come join us and help shape the future!Your Impact Work under the direction of the Project Manager and/or Project Controls Manager to support the planning, coordination, and evaluation of project financial reporting.
Responsible for supporting major aviation programs and projects.
Responsible for management information systems, program management and program controls.
Responsible for Developing and implementing Project Controls Systems, Software and Systems Integration, Processes and procedures.
Assist in the development of Project Controls reporting needs and tools.
Provide continuous project management and quality improvement.
Support Project Controls team:
assess and provide recommendations to resolve schedule, scope changes or delays to the Project Team and Executive Management.
Maintain financial reports for individual project subtasks and provide roll-up reports that summarize the subtasks.
Review funding availability and procurement documentation to ensure conformance to approved project budgets.
Facilitate change management processes to ensure changes are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
Participate in development of project estimates, budgets, forecasts, estimates to complete, and cost trends.
Who You AreRequired Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of Project Controls experience involving large-scale projects, preferably aviation projects.

years of demonstrated experience in construction, transportation, and/or aviation projects.
Ability to interface with clients and participate in business development initiatives.
Experience in establishing project control systems and procedures and developing project reports and documentation.
Familiarity with aviation construction and airport operations.
Familiarity with aviation information and technology.
Coordinate project-related tasks, events, and meetings.
Maintain project-related files and documents.
Prepare project-related meeting agendas, minutes and action items.
Preparation of written correspondence and presentations, as directed by the Project Manager.
Identify and resolve problems which may require the development of new and improved techniques and procedures.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Perform additional responsibilities as required by project needs.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications Background knowledge of the design and construction industry desired, with experience in Aviation.
Advanced degrees or professional certifications and accreditations in Construction Management and related fields#LI-KCL Recommended Skills Accounting Agenda Development Aviation Business Development Business Informatics Change Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
