Optometry practice in Reno is looking to a hire a second bright, energetic, and engaging person for front desk receptionist position.
This person will be one of the faces of our practice and will be responsible for creating a positive first impression for all patients over the phone and in person.
Previous experience in an eye care setting is a plus, but we will train the right person.
Customer service skills, a great personality, and a fast learner are the most important things we are looking for.

Our practice was started 7 years ago by a husband and wife team from Reno, and we are not owned by a large, faceless corporation or insurance company.
We place a high value on work-life balance.
We do not have evening or weekend hours, and close early on Fridays.
Successful candidate will have the following qualities:
- Ability to easily engage and relate to patients, vendors, and coworkers from a variety of different backgrounds - Exceptional written communication skills including excellent grammar, spelling, and typing - Passion for helping others - Self motivated to go above and beyond to help patients and coworkers - Strong customer service skills - Ability to multitask Job duties:
- Establish and maintain patient relationships - Answer phone calls, emails, and texts from patients - Scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out - Verifying insurance benefits on behalf of patients using both phone calls and online methods - Solve patient issues with compassion - Assist optician with frame selection, job ordering, and dispensing as necessary If you are interested, please apply through Indeed.
