The purpose of the Communications Associate is to execute a strategic communications and marketing plan by providing supportive services to our communications and brand strategy efforts, across the department, the organization and to our external clients.
The Communications Associate creates, designs, develops, implements and evaluates a plan, materials and resources to provide support to the Director of Communications and the P & C department.
In doing so, they will develop internal and external stakeholder relationships and collaborate with P&C team and other staff at HOPES.
The Communications Associate will serve as a subject matter expert for their specific work in graphic design, content development, website management, event support, internal communications, social media, traditional media, and donor recognition and cultivation.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
