Position Summary Generates product designs, rebar layouts, manufacturing drawings and submittal documentation via parametric modeling in Computer Aided Design (CAD) or Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) systems.
Assists in the development of process documentation and supports the Company with expanding current CAD capabilities.
Principle Accountabilities Leads the design team and structural analysis for products.
Provides engineering deliverables, including but not limited to:
drawings, submittals, and other technical data.
Develops content, including but not limited to:
standard details, catalogs, and various marketing content as necessary.
Creates user stories, process workflows, and data models to support configuration development.
Performs parametric modeling in CAD or CAE systems to generate product designs.
Works in the Product Data Management software (PDM) to develop and support workflows, as well as product structure and bill of material management.
Maintains organization of multiple projects and revisions simultaneously.
Regularly communicates project status with managers and Jensen Precast branch representatives.
Maintains archives of engineering documentation and data for projects.
Position Requirements The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated education and experience in the engineering field.
Other desired qualifications include:
Autodesk Certified Professional - Preferred Autodesk Certified User within 60 days of hire - Required Engineer in Training (EIT) professional designation - Preferred Basic understanding of Bill of Materials and Part Maintenance in a Product Data Management (PDM) software - Preferred BS Engineering - Required Concrete design following ACI and AASHTO - Preferred Knowledge of 3D modeling and drafting using Autodesk Inventor - Preferred Strong communications skills to include both verbal and written communication - Required Strong organizational and task management skills - Required Template modeling and/or CAD Automation experience - Preferred Equal Opportunity Employer Location:
