Job Description Privacy is a critical feature of every F5 product and service. Data advocacy and privacy integrations are focused on maximizing the use of data, under applicable privacy regulations and frameworks, for the F5 products and services that connect and protect users around the world. Seamless integration of legal obligations and ethical considerations and continually adapting compliance programs across many products areas such as BIG IP, NGINX, Shape and Volterra requires a Leader who is dynamic and able to unify teams and help them execute quickly. Our Data Enablement team is responsible for working with a wide range of cross functional subject matter experts at the company in helping to define and execute a Risk and Compliance strategy. We are deeply connected with Compliance Teams, Product Management and Engineering to ensure products and features are developed and launched safely and successfully. Your role will be to support product managers and engineering leads to use and manage data in a way that enables them to achieve their product vision and strategy with privacy in mind, naturally yielding compliance. Develop frameworks for product and engineering teams to build data processing systems that can scale with computationally and according to various legal and jurisdictional requirements. Participate in product discovery processes to proactively identify new products and engage and educate product managers about privacy-related operations. Collaborate with the Compliance, Product and Product Operations teams in understanding and resolving potential privacy-related issues during the design, build, launch, and expansion phase of product and services life cycle. Prepare and review technical Privacy Impact Assessments for various new services or features. Ensure the right level of tracking and transparency on milestones. Collaborate with business leaders to cultivate a culture of privacy by design. Educate Product teams to collect and use personal information to support and anticipate customers' needs. Review and consult our Legal team on data Protection Addendums or other privacy-related terms in contracts for complex commercial transactions, including customer contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and novel partnership contracts. Collaborate with Sales leaders to develop and train salespeople to engage with prospective customers around services. Minimum Qualifications BS from an accredited university in computer science, electrical engineering and computer engineering. 12
years of work experience in business strategy, product solutioning, data privacy compliance, risk analysis, and technology. Experience participating in cross-functional processes, communicating and developing new frameworks and methodologies. Strategic thinking and influencing skills at various levels across the organization. Experience applying privacy risk and compliance requirements in a technical environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications 12
years of technical writing for a broad range of technologies or clients. JD and/or equivalent work experience in data privacy. Knowledge about common cryptographic constructions and schemes. Experience designing frameworks to enable product managers and architects to build complex international data processing systems and services. Experience with GDPR, GLBA, PCI DSS, CCPA, and/or other regulations or frameworks.
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Data Science & Machine LearningEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
