The Executive Housekeeper will oversee the operations of the Housekeeping, Laundry and Concierge to ensure all Departments are immaculately clean, organized, and meets high standards of quality and efficiency so that guest satisfaction is optimized.
Responsibilities:
Implementation of all policies and procedures.
Development of staff, Interviewing, hiring staff, reviews, counseling.
Financial reporting, tracking of all expenses/revenues within the departments.
Scheduling, counseling, project coordination, new item research, introduction of new items, research of new equipment, linen.
Tracking all maintenance issues, working with engineering to schedule maintenance and remodel projects.
Working with outside vendors on remodel projects.
Evaluating inventory usage and establishing proper controls and accountability.
Technical Skills:
Experience working directly with General Manager, Owner, President, CFO.
Must have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with ease.
Must have a thorough knowledge of hospitality operations.
Strong team member relations skills.
Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize, follow-up and multi -tasking abilities.
Spanish Speaking helpful not required.
It is expected that the Executive Housekeeper ensure that all departments they are responsible for meeting the established mission of 'Creating Every Players Paradise'
To ensure that all rooms and hotel guests areas achieve 4 start cleanliness - that all linen soft to the touch, scent free and in impeccable condition - that Service in the 25th floor and lounge and in all other areas meets the 8 simple principle guidelines, that revenues are maximized and expenses reduced/controlled.
Experience/Skills:
Minimum of 5
years housekeeping experience at the senior management level.
Four year college degree or equivalent work experience.
Ability to train, motivate, evaluate, mentor and direct employees and managers to achieve desired results.
Must have strong experience using MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), LMS, or other related Casino or Hotel Resort software systems.
