Animal Emergency and Specialty Center provides 24 hour emergency care, critical care, surgery, chemotherapy, and animal rehabilitation care to the patients of over 75 referring hospitals from Northern Nevada as well as California.
Our region is growing, and we are looking for experienced client care representatives that can provide optimal client care for our growing emergency and specialty center.
The Animal Emergency and Specialty Center in Reno, Nevada is currently hiring Client Care Receptionists (CCRs) to join our exceptional staff.
Our CCR position is extremely important and requires direct interaction/communication with clients.
CCRs are the initial contact with the patient and assist with triage to evaluate for critical status prior to emergency admission as well as obtaining weights and performing TPRs.
The CCRs are often responsible for discharging the patient, ensuring all medications are filled correctly, discharge instructions are printed and explained to the client.
We require applicants have at least one year of full-time experience working as a CCR at a veterinary hospital.
This position requires weekend and holiday shifts.
We are hiring for swing and overnight shifts.
A full-time position will result in:
Generous compensation $21+/hour based on skill, experience level and shifts worked.
Overnight shifts have a shift differential of an added $2/hour compensation.
Holiday pay of time and a half Signing bonus of $2000 with 2
years of full-time veterinary hospital experience Relocation expense if moving to Reno from out of the area Paid Time Off (PTO) of 80 hours the first year which starts to accrue after your initial 60 days.
Paid Health Insurance you can join our health insurance plan which is a PPO so you can choose your own physician with a low deductible and a low co-pay.
If you decide to keep your current health insurance plan, we offer a $500/month stipend to assist you in paying for your health insurance.
Uniform allowance:
We purchase your scrubs (you can choose any color, solid or print), $80 toward a pair of shoes.
We also purchase a stethoscope for you.
