Sierra Nevada Job Corps is currently looking for an Senior Secretary in our Outreach Admissions/Career Transition Services department. Job Duties
Receive telephone calls and visitors; handle routine matters personally and route non-routine business to proper staff for consideration.
Maintain calendar and schedule appointments.
Act as liaison between director and other center staff.
Maintain correspondence control log, receive incoming and outgoing mail and follow-up on dates for action items.
Perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties; preparation of special reports, maintain files and records, statistical data, make travel arrangements, etc., as required.
High school diploma or equivalent and three years related experience required
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and computer proficiency required
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Apply online atEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
