Position Description:
You will be part of a small influential team that owns the delivery of all Global Business Intelligence (BI) for Microsoft s Commercial Volume Licensing business. Through subject matter expertise, proactive engagement and BI skillset, you will be expected to influence the delivery of the Global BI strategy and land the one version of the truth concept for the Commercial business. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of business partnering to deliver quality work efforts, the ability to influence others, strong collaboration skills and a keen understanding of how to drive results within Operations, Finance, IT and/or Sales teams. You are a skilled navigator with demonstrated success leading work efforts across diverse, geographically dispersed teams to quality business outcomes. You are a thought leader; passionate about focusing relentlessly on the customer experience to delivery implementable ideas into all aspects of the business. You are capable of managing complex continuous improvement and transformation within business processes.

Responsibilities:
BI Foundation - Proficient BI technology & architecture knowledge
General Foundation - Effectively drive cross-group communication and cooperation, using strong influencing, project management, and organizational skills
Understand the landscape - Deep knowledge in business processes, systems measures and metrics
Make it real - Iterate and create proof of concepts taking data to actionable decision points that transfer to the durable world
Amazing Proactive Engager - Consultative mindset that engages specific business areas frequently and often
Strategic Mindset - Ability to anticipate and develop priorities for future business needs
Agile - Ability to lead/manage agile development methodologies across the business and engineering landscapes

Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated business intelligence (BI) related work experience

Preferred
Qualifications:
Competency in Microsoft BI product stack systems and tools
Detail oriented and thorough, with ability to think big picture and understand the key trends and levers that drive the business
Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities and reprioritize as necessary to align with business objectives
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in writing and verbally
Team oriented self-starter with a strong initiative for analytical problem solving
Able to operate in an ambiguous and dynamically complex environment
Strong customer/ user orientation (i.e. to focus on the needs of the users and end customers in determining core activities)
Analytical project experience
Data modeling project experience
Advanced SQL Server skillset
Business Process Monitoring experience
Prior operational experience
