The HR Business Specialist builds a valuable relationship with its internal clients and business requests while providing strategic solutions and serving as a resource to members of the operations. The HR Business Specialist has a deep knowledge of its internal clients, key employees and business processes and will achieve defined objectives by planning, evaluating, developing, implementing and maintaining services in compliance with established guidelines and serve as a member of the leadership team. Must be fluent in Spanish.
Job Description:
Plans and organizes all activities of the HR department and assists in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
Works in partnership with the operations to manage ER issues and guides management responsibility and capability for managing their ER issues in a timely and efficient manner so as to foster a conducive working environment through employee relations activities and effective communication.
Embed a performance management culture within the business area as a means of driving business improvement by ensuring clear objectives, feedback and the improvement of customer service through behaviors aligned with the company values.
Assists as needed in assessing training needs of employees and helping to develop new training programs where needed.
Evaluates reporting, decisions, and results of the operations in relation to established goals while recommending new approaches, policies, and procedures.
Assists in the recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees and assists in the on-boarding process.
Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures and assists in the benefits administration to include claims resolution and change reporting.
Plans and organizes employee events and activities.
Assists HR Director in special projects as needed.
Requirements:
Bilingual skills in English-Spanish preferred.
Bachelor's degree and 5 years' Human Resources experience.
Master's degree in Human Resources Management or PHR/SPHR certification preferred but not required.
Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel.
Manages complex and difficult HR Projects cross-functionally
Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong level of influence and negotiation skills.
Ability to work alone on a broad variety of projects.

Must be US citizen or permanent resident
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
