Stack books from totes into SmartKartons following best practices. Put empty totes on totes return line. Push off all cartons (SmartKarton & Regular Boxes) onto conveyor line after scanning for time stamp. Watch for damaged product and incorrect stacking procedures by Pick, Sort, CLS & VAS and report accordingly. Erect SmartKartons and deliver to Sortation. Print and apply ship label stickers at print station, matching bar code on carton to container number on ship label. Monitor oven temp, conveyor speed and work flow volume. Stacks books from totes onto cardboard flat. Lifts empty totes to tote return conveyor. Pushes completed stack onto moving conveyor. Completes necessary forms to replace damaged books and repack over filled totes. High school education and up to three months experience. Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's and perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, and lift/move up to 50 lbs. The employee is occasionally required to walk. stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and lift/move up to 100 lbs. Specific requirements included close vision.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
