Sorts products into various ATS's and fowards to appropriate departments for preparation for shipping. The following statements describe the general nature of work being performed in this job. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list to all other duties. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management. Scan barcodes in sort station and on the products (books). Places products (books) into proper sort locations. Check products (books) to ensure shipments are of the highest quality. Forwards completed containers to appropriate departments for preparation for shipping. High school education or equivalent and up to three months experience. High degree of accuracy and organization. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and effectively present information to managers and employees of the organization. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms and frequently walk and lift/move up to 50 lbs. The employee must occationally talk, hear, stoop kneel, crouch or crawl; and lift/move up to 100 lbs. Specific vision requirments include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
